Welcome from the Supervisor

Welcome to the Charter Township of Clayton. It is my privilege to serve as your Township Supervisor and to work alongside our dedicated staff and board members in support of this community.

Clayton Township is a proud rural community in Genesee County, Michigan. Our goal is to provide efficient, transparent, and responsive local government services to all residents and property owners within our township.

Role of the Township Supervisor

Chief Executive Officer

Serves as the chief administrative officer of the township, overseeing day-to-day operations.

Board Chair

Presides over Township Board meetings and coordinates with elected officials.

Financial Oversight

Responsible for budget preparation and ensuring proper use of township funds.

Community Liaison

Acts as a point of contact between residents, county offices, and state agencies.
